My Little Leaguer

Look at this gorgeous kid!
He was so fun to watch. He seemed to enjoy it and there was NO crying (which was a bit of a disappointment since that meant I couldn't use the famous line
"There's no crying in baseball!". Darn.)
He has a good arm {always has} and was able to hit the ball the majority of the time without the tee. Base running could use a little improvement however. Rather than run he seemed to...prance. Adam's parents said Kyle's running antics reminded them of Adam when he played baseball.
Now he wants to do KARATE. We'll see.

Noah and Ava

West Jordan Parade. We've been going as long as I can remember.

Cute patriotic girl

Papa's boys
Waiting for the parade to begin- Megan's first.

Isn't this what the parade is all about?

Hill Air Force Base- A really cool thing to do on the 4th

Checking out the big planes with Gma and Gpa. The boys loved it.

Noah and Grandpa

My hottie hubby lookin' the part.

We also saw fireworks later on that night. We watched Rocky Mountain Raceway's from our stake center. Kyle actually really liked them this year, Noah was nervous and Megan slept through the whole thing.
It was a really good day.

My Babies

This is Kyle's cool Superhero face and it is NOT to be laughed at. Period.

'Bout time

It's been a while since we've done family pics. Adding a little girl to the mix got our cans in gear. Check them out and tell me what you think. I'm not real keen on the family shots. So I ask you, which would YOU choose?

A New Education

Things I (Adam) have learned since being a parent:
1. Pixar makes the best movies
2. Wipees can clean anything
3. If you have the red lightsaber you are automatically the bad guy
4. Skooby Doo will never die
5. Mac and cheese really isn't that bad
6. Always wrap up dirty diapers
7. There is nothing stronger than Superheros
8. Be very careful when buckling car seats
9. "Daddy's home!" are the best words in the English language 10. Mommy always has last say.

My baby girl is growing like a weed. She has been such a good baby even though she's a bit of a mama's girl (just like her brothers). She's sleeping well (up once a night) and wakes up happy and with lots of smiles. People constantly comment on her big, bright eyes and even bigger, open-mouthed smile.

Megan's 4 month stats:

Height: 26 in. 97%
Weight: 15.2 lbs 90%
Head 16.9 in. 90%

She is tall.

{I took the boys for their check up's as well}

Noah's 3 year stats:

Height: 38.6 in. 75%
Weight: 37 lbs 90%

He's my beefy boy.

Kyle's 5 year stats:

Height: 44.7 in. 90%
Weight: 44 lbs. 75%
Vision: 20/30

He's my string bean.

Uppidy date

...Megan is finally using her little mitts for something other than slurping on. She is a grabber. NOT good when eating soup or using an iPhone.

{This yellow bear has has been a favorite with all my kids.}

...I went to Heber Valley Girls Camp for my Mom's mother/daughter campout. It was really fun and I loved being with my sisters {Dawn and Amy}, mom and nieces {Morgan, Anna, Rachel, Olivia, Julia and Ellie}.

Anna really IS beautiful. :)

...Whilst I was off bonding with the womenfolk of my family, Adam took advantage and took his boys to Wasatch State Park overnight (what a sweet daddy). Ethan and Papa came along too. Kyle got to break in his new hydration pack and get in some much adored hiking.

...Speaking of hiking, we also went to City Creek Canyon and enjoyed the beauty there. Ahhhh, I am so enjoying summer.

...So is Noah...

...Megan's first swimming experience was a great success...NOT.

...Adam and I went to "The Wedding Singer at Hale Center Theater. It was good but the movie is better.

....Father's Day cupcakes.

Journal Jar Monday

*What colors would you choose for your wedding reception?
What refreshments would you choose for your reception?*

{Since this photo was taken with my 7 beautiful nieces,
13 more grandkids have been added!}

Well, since I've been there, done that let's just take a walk down memory lane.
My colors were various shades of pink, white and some black. I can say that after almost 8 years {wow.}, I can still look back at my colors with satisfaction.

We did a kind of dessert buffet for refreshments that consisted of lemon bars and éclairs for Schmmidt's (where Adam used to work), and... I have no idea what else. I don't think I partook of any of it hence my brain cramp. I thought I had a picture of the buffet table but I can't find it. Darn. It was gorgeous...
just like my Honey.

UPDATE:
I found the picture!
Look at all the yumminess.

Same old, same old.

Went to the same old beautiful Kodachrome campground over Memorial weekend....ate the same old delicious fare... hiked the same old hikes.... enjoyed the same old old ;) company and just had the same old good time... I like same old.

Top of Angel's Palace hike and view of campground.

Can't resist the slick rock.

Noah's faithful tag-a-longs.

What a chore trying to keep this girl shaded. Despite all our efforts she still ended up getting burnt. Poor baby.

Noah dubbed this the "pirate's cave".

LOVE him.

Angel's Palace trail. Kyle's favorite hike. This kid can HIKE!

Ellsworth and his look-alike rock.

After two years of crappy weather, this year it was glorious!

These boys are such sweet brothers...most of time. :)

Mini biker chick.

I will look forward to more same old, same old next year.
