Easter Festivities

An Easter egg hunt all to himself. (Noah was napping.) Buncha greenies!
I thought it was so fun and appropriate to go see these sweet new baby sheep. Kyle liked it too.
Noah and his cousin, Ava. They look like they are at a dance together being matchy- matchy and all.
Holy smokes! We got a lot of candy!! It actually makes me gag a little. Well, at least now our food storage is all good!

Kyle Won the "Poopie Prize"

I promised Kyle a bike if he'd go poo-poo in the potty thinking that he wouldn't actually do it. Yeah, he proved me wrong. So off we went to Wal-mart where luckily they had a "teeny bike" for 30 bucks. Unfortunately, as soon as he had his bike picked out he decided he had to have a "hat" (helmet). Who am I to turn down my little safety kid? Hence the "Cars" helmet and pads. So now your wondering if the bribing worked...welllllll, not exactly. He has "gone" 3 times now but hes not too interested in his "Thomas" undies and prefers his diapers. Ho hum. The next poopie prize will be Woody from "Toy Story" and hes got two more stickers to go....

Bright boy

Noah is such a happy, funny boy and these pictures are proof of that. Every time he is exposed to bright lights of ANY kind- flash from the camera, the sun, whatever- he pulls this funny face. Its easy to get him to smile for pictures! Whenever we go out in the sunshine he crinkles up his nose while grinning from ear to ear. I can't wait for summer because he will be smiling all season long! :)

I LOVE dancing with other men! Part II

I was all set to tell the dance instructor that Adam and I were NOT going to trade dance partners and that there was NOTHING she could do about it!... Yeah, it didn't happen. We were late and therefore I didn't want to interrupt the class and, and, and... I pretty much woosed out. Next week though! At least this week I spent a big chunk of the class dancing with the male dance instructor. (Adam referred to me as the "class pet".) Now before you think what I know you are going to think let me just say that if I have to dance with some other guy he was a much better option. I didn't have to stumble around with guys who were clueless. Dancing with the instructor I learned a lot. Gees guys! :) Anyhoo, Adam and I are really having a good time and can't wait to go bust a move out on a real dance floor when these classes are over.

I LOVE dancing with other men!

I finally got to "cash in" on my Valentine's gift from my hubby. "Beginning Salsa Dance". Boy, is that an understatement. Me and my man went to our first class on Monday night nervous as to what we would find. We shouldn't have been. The class was full of couples like us looking to add a little spice to their lives, single men and women looking to add to their date-ability... I guess. We were having a good time learning the basics, enjoying each others company, laughing at ourselves and feeling good that we had a permanent dancing partn- "Time to switch partners!" interrupts the dancing instructor. I got to spend the last half of the class dancing with men I'd never met and quite honestly didn't care to meet and feeling embarassed because I kept trying to "lead" the guy I was dancing with. At one point I danced with a guy more than head shorter than me. I kept wondering if he was looking at his feet or the blue and green stripes on the FRONT of my shirt. Ho hum. It really wasn't WAY bad but I wasn't thrilled to be spending the romantic Valentines present from my husband awkwardly dancing with OTHER men. Hence the sarcasm of this post's title....

P.S. I really am looking forward to the rest of the classes because the time I do get to dance with my husband is a lot of fun. I'm looking forward to going salsa dancing and having him all to myself when we are done with the class. No, I'm not possessive!
